Dear Fans- Well, here it is, the official biography of Neglegence. After approximately five years in the making, Neglegence has evoloved into what it is today. In 1996, a punk garage band formed of "Sierra Morena Rats", called 336 Coils. The band was made up of Justin Linn (Guitar, Vocals. Current member of Fifth Wheel), and beginning musicians Tim Rivadeneyra (Bass) and Thomas Morales (Drums). The band established each members musical experience, and after about a year the band replaced Tim with Carlos Verdugo (Bass. Current drummer of Fifth Wheel). But the new lineup did not last long, as Thomas left the band again to form his first hard rock band with two other "Sierra Morena Rats", Daniel Demary (Guitar, Vocals), Jeremy Ryberg (Guitar), and Tim (Bass) again. The grunge/metal band was called Morning Wood, but unfortunately the lineup again did not last long. Morning Wood only lasted with the lineup until Tim left the band. Thomas would go on to form other bands such as the punk band, Grease Monkey, the metal band, Hedon. Mean while Tim was playing with other bands including, the punk band LoPro. Around summer 2000, Tim and Thomas were reunited in a band with Jeremy Ryberg (Guitar), Tom Laird (Vocals), and new member Joey Mart (Guitar), which was his first band. Joey Mart who is almost a "Sierra Morena Rat", was new to the group of musicians, introduced by Tim. The Iron Maiden cover band, Powerslaved, lasted through the summer but by late September 2000, but it was clear that Tim, Joey, Thomas, would soon have to move on. After Powerslaved's first gig, Neglegence had established itself apart from Powerslaved. Neglegence began practicing by themselves and soon the band began showing it's great potential. As the band is still in it's youngest stages, it has already written a handful of songs and played a couple of gigs. So as Neglegence goes on into the future, only good is seen down the road for the trio. As more pivotal events in the band occur, this biography will be updated.
